Turmeric Steamer with Cinnamon & Moringa

This steamer is anti-inflammatory and makes a great replacement for your coffee/latte in the morning.

– 1 cup coconut milk
– 1/4 cup water
– 1/2 tsp organic turmeric powder
– 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder or 1 inch-long piece of cinnamon stick
– 1/4 or 1/2 tsp moringa powder
– 1 clove
– optional: 1 inch-long chunk of ginger
Pour water, clove and cinnamon stick (and ginger) if using into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn down heat to medium, add the coconut milk until it is heated. Add the turmeric powder, cinnamon powder (if using), and moringa powder and stir. Strain out the cinnamon stick and clove if you’d like. Use a frother if you have one or you can use a hand blender. Sprinkle some turmeric and cinnamon powder and enjoy warm!
